Dr. Holly Metts

Dr. Holly Metts, a native to Savannah Georgia, is the veterinarian/owner of Forsyth Park Animal Hospital. The hospital is located on the garden level at 513 Whitaker Street, directly across from the fountain at Forsyth Park.

After attending Savannah Country Day School she completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Georgia. The desire to pursue veterinary medicine was inspired from her family background in the medical field. In 2003 she graduated from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine.

Dr. Metts began her career in Rincon Georgia and practiced in the Savannah area for 8 years prior to opening Forsyth Park Animal Hospital. Having now fulfilled her life long dream of owning her own clinic, she continues to practice medicine to the highest standards, always offering what is in the best interest of her patients. Her passion lies in the areas of internal medicine, osteoarthritis, pain management, as well as behavior and anxiety disorders. Dr. Metts truly believes that age is not a disease and strives to prolong and improve the quality of life for your senior pets. She prides herself in practicing progressive medicine, and is always eager to learn the latest advances in medicine and surgery.

Her hobbies outside of work include fishing, boating, crabbing, taking her dogs to the area sand bars, snow skiing, and spending quality time with friends and family.

Client education is a top priority and questions are always encouraged. At Forsyth Park Animal Hospital, we treat your pet as if they were our own.
